The editor of photos of Google, Snapseed just of receive an important update in its version for iOS between which found new functions and improvements in the interface of user. With this update the application comes to version 2.9 whose main difference is found in the compatibility with RAW files. Snapseed now supports the RAW formats that create 144 models of cameras on the market, so we will be able to modify the exposure, colors, white balance… in all of those pictures in which the conditions in which we have taken the image was not correct.
This update also us brings a new tool called face that us allows highlight them faces of them photographs, in addition to allow correct imperfections in the skin, remove eyes red in addition to make them more clear… Also improved the treatment receiving the images in JPG format when we export them, in such a way that we are going to configure the ideal compression level to make the image fit as much as possible to reality.
New features of the version 2.9 of Snapseed
- New tool face: a tool photographic with which can highlight more the faces, eliminate the imperfections of the skin and clarify them eyes.
- RAW for iOS: support total and native, not destructive, from RAW to 144 models of camera. Gives more brightness to the shadows, retrieves it enhanced, adds structure and destalles to them data RAW original, applied settings precise of Balance of white to them data RAW native and many more options.

Our team has many years working to develop profiles of 144 camera models to Snapseed can read all data from the sensor from the RAW file. Now, when you change the exposure in a RAW in Snapseed file is as if you ajustaras the same camera settings: data of high resolution and fully dynamic range of chip CCD or CMOS can be already changed.
