Samsung, global manufacturer of screens and mobile phones, plans to launch two new models of smatphones starting in 2017. Each of them will belong to a new range of movles Samsung with a screen OLED completely malleable, i.e. a screen that you can fold. According to reports on Bloomberg, the two devices will be presented in the first quarter of next year, possibly at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, and will be two models of different size each and belonging to a same range such as iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, for example.
One of the models that Samsung could have a 5 inch screen, when you are in the format of hand – folding-, and when opened could have a screen similar to the one of a tablet, reaching 8-inch. The smaller model would have a screen as much could reach 5 inches and that could be folded up to the end to save it and transport it easily into any pocket.
These two products could change the rules of the game to put them in favor of Samsung, if they really see the light so short term and not found competition in the market. Be the first putting on the market a mobile with a malleable screen could have great consequences for Samsung, which could leave far behind Apple and the iPhone in terms of sales.
The project is called project Valley (Project Valley), but from Samsung they do not plan to turn them into their products star, but rather raised its launch as a test on the market, to see what acceptance they have among users. Therefore, these new models not will follow the line of the Galaxy S family, but it will start a new series for the Korean manufacturer.
