On many occasions whenever we visited Apple stores, seems to be a pleasure to work for the company, although at other times according to the treatment that we receive we can think that the employees are not at all happy as we could imagine. The Business Insider publication has had access to a former employee of the Apple Store in the United Kingdom in which says that not everything is pink as one might think.
Firstly all workers who come to form part of the template of an Apple Store must sign an NDA (confidentiality agreement for its acronym in English), so it is surprising that any worker to jump it is to report on the functioning of the same.
This worker, who was in an Apple Store between 2011 and 2015, says that workers paid 8 pounds at the time, not sufficient amount so that workers can buy products that sells the company, at least in the United Kingdom. Apple does not offer any kind of incentive to their workers by the thousands of pounds that sell their products every day or for companies such as new customers of the company.
In addition the internal policies of the company are that workers who are working part time, they may not opt to positions of greater responsibility, instead the company would prefer to choose to hire personnel from other companies to positions of greater responsibility, something logical bearing in mind that the people who works part time cannot offer the same commitment that a person full time.
This employee says that working in an Apple Store is crap on the treatment receives people when they complain that their devices will not work as it should. In fact this employee has received some threatened with death when reporting to the owner who could not fix your device to find him out of warranty. In addition 60% of visitors who want to solve a problem at the Genius Bar tend not to book an appointment, which leads many of them to show up disgruntled when forwarded them to the website to request an appointment.
But not everything is bad. The company offers a 15% discount on all products of the company and in some cases direct access to Tim Cook. In addition, not all workers are required to use an iPhone. Indeed, some workers of the Apple Store still used their Samsung phones instead of having gone to the company.
