Facebook Messenger will have End-to-End encryption
You do nothing, Whatsapp, which recalls that he bought Facebook, it included in its instant messaging service End-to-End encryption in all conversations if two users have the application updated to version that supported it. This option was established for all types of submissions that were made through the application: messages, images, videos, files… and it seems that Facebook intends to implement this Facebook Messenger encryption.
Security has become one of the “trending topics” lately about electronic devices. Possibly for this reason, not surprised that one of the major companies in the social media environment is preparing to deploy new features in this aspect. According to an article in The Guardian in which CITES unknown sources, Facebook is planning to implement End-to-End encryption which already adopted on Facebook Messenger Whatsapp.
However, should keep in mind some things about this new feature. First, the End-to-End encryption would be implanted and the end user of Facebook would have the possibility to deactivate this option. Why? The reason seems to be that If activated Facebook bots would cease to function properly. These bots that Facebook launched as a beta in April of this year with what it purports to developers to create their own bots to interact autonomously with users without the need for a physical person back. This will give infinite new possibilities to third parties, for example, reaching many more customers more easily.
Of course, the End-to-End encryption is enabled by default in Whatsapp and also in the native Apple iMessage. However, it seems that the users will be Facebook if you prefer security or chat with bots.
