Official Instagram app is currently the only one that allows you to upload both photos and videos to the social network of Facebook photographs. Instagram policy does not allow that any application, whether desktop or mobile version, can be used to upgrade our account. But Instagram if allows us to use third party applications to check our account, at least until yesterday. If you use any of the applications available in the App Store to see our Instagram account and you are experiencing problems you’re not the only one. Take it easy. But you should also know you’re going to have to stop using them because Instagram has closed the tap this kind of apps.
The strict policy of the use of the API Instagram has now entered into force and many applications are leaving work. I have visited several websites of third-party applications developers and we can be read in the FastFeed:
Instagram has made a major shift in the policy of using the platform API for third parties. From June 2016, Instagram does not allow third-party applications to navigate Instagram account. Unfortunately, our application is no exception and has stopped working on June 1.
But it is not the only one who has expressed his discomfort. Without going any further, the developer of Gramfeed has removed the app from the App Store as well as Mixagram, since it also stopped working on June 1, when it entered into force the new policy of Instagram API.
As we can read on the website developer Instagram, all developers who wish to use the official API must apply permissions so your application can be revised before being sent that is approved in the respective app store. There is no doubt that the idea of Instagram is to put an end to all third-party mobile applications, but it has also closed the tap applications for Mac and Windows.
