The Google guys continue to expand the number of functions in the various applications in the App Store. Main application Google, we not only offers the Google Now Wizard but it also allows us to use the application as if it were a search engine but unlike using the search engine through Safari, the Google application integrates with the entire ecosystem of applications that the company based in Mountain View has on the App Store. In case outside little, Google has just announced that within a few months we can locate our iOS device via Google services.
In iOS we currently have the option to Search my iPhone through iCloud to find our device at all times always and when this service is enabled on the device, either iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. But soon it will not be the only option to find our device since Google added a new option that will allow us to find our device. Obviously to do this must be installed on your device any application from Google, otherwise the guys at Mountain View may not make miracles.
If we have lost our iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch and don’t remember our password iCloud (difficult), you can go to the search engine Google and write “I’ve lost my phone”. Once Google show us on the map where our device is misplaced, you can make a call or block it remotely. As I said above, to activate this service just we need to have installed any application from Google, as for example Gmail, so this service is automatically activated and the application please note our locations.
At the moment this new feature will be available only in United States, as a test pilot, but if everything works correctly likely that soon the rest of the countries can enjoy this feature. It should take into account that this new feature is very nice in theory but gives Google our location at all times, so the privacy in this sense becomes a background completely.
