Several weeks ago that the India Government gave the go-ahead to the company headquartered in Cupertino to be able to open their stores in the country, since so far it is selling its devices through authorized resellers. The approval was a but very important that forced a company with headquarters in Cupertino have to sell at least 30% of the stores products originating in the country, in the India. This law is the same for all companies who want to sell their products in the country, so it affects all foreign companies with the exception of the technology offering services rather than physical devices.
Apple returned to resorting to asserting that currently all of its production is concentrated in China but intends, through of Foxconn, begin to manufacture devices in the country, within a few years. Foxconn plans to invest 10,000 million dollars in the country to begin to expand to countries where manufacturing devices now that China is becoming a country too expensive to manufacture, due to the rise in wages and the cost of living in general in recent years.
According to Times of India, Apple appealed and has managed to start to open stores in the country without having to sell devices manufactured in the India, at least during the first three years, longer than enough for Foxconn start building the factories necessary to comply with this requirement of the country. It must be borne in mind that Foxconn works for almost all manufacturers of mobile devices in the world, so it will not be the only beneficiary will be the construction of new facilities in the country.
