One of the innovations that Apple presented during the WWDC16 was a new version of the Remote app. This application is used for controlling a distance fourth-generation Apple TV, and iTunes music playback.
The new version introduced by Apple during their event for developers is intended primarily to be used with the Apple TV. This new version replicates all functions has Siri Remote (Apple TV remote control) and improved them in some cases.
