It is a feature that became popular enough for years, above all when it was still a novelty, however, the image of Google Maps, known as Google Earth, satellite doesn’t improve. These days, Google is implementing these images in high definition for Google Maps and Google Earth, so that we can take a look to the Earth with a luxury of details which until now was unknown. Gradually cartography and satellite services will improve, at the same pace that makes it the technology. This is how we will someday see images of any part of the world with astonishing ease.
The company has been reported throughout the day today that has introduced new parts in its mosaic of the Earth and its surface, but this time with high resolution images taken by the Landsat 8, a satellite which was put into orbit by the USGS and NASA back in 2013. The reality is that the images that we offer are spectacular in the header image we can see the before and the after in the case of New York.
To produce these images we have used the same Google Earth API. Scientists have used it to enhance images and thus to study the impact of malaria or how will raise the water level in the next thirty years.
Thanks to the new satellite, these new images have more than 700 trillion of individual pixels, so let us one idea, more pixels in these images-star la Vía Láctea, or seventy times there is about 7,000 times more pixels than the estimated number of galaxies in the universe.
Update to all users will be arriving in a staggered fashion, Google is launching these new images slowly to avoid saturating the system.
