Since launch of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple is focusing on promoting the main virtues and advantages in comparison with their predecessors in several ads, which we are echoing us today iPhone continuously. Several actors and film directors have appeared in several commercials where Siri is the protagonist, as well as the cookie monster. But the main virtue which gives Siri in the latest models of iPhone is the ability to be able to call it without being connected to the mains supply, as it was the case in the previous models.
This function is ideal for when we can not touch the iPhone and need to put a countdown, make a call, send a message… To do this we have to pronounce previously heard Siri. Precisely this feature has saved the life of a girl of 1 year of age. An Australian mother has made use of this function to call emergency while doing a CPR to her daughter, 1-year-old who had stopped breathing.
Stacey Gleason took his iPhone and ran to the room of her daughter, but was dropped when he switched on the light. Stacey shouted to activate the function Siri and make an emergency call while doing a CPR to her daughter who had stopped breathing. Gleason told the BBC that this feature had probably saved the life of his daughter.
Siri made the call and allowed the mother talk with the Emergency Department while he helped his daughter Giana. This incident happened in March, but not has heard of the incident until Gleeson got in touch with Apple to thank you that Siri has helped him.
I’ve always played with Siri, I thought it was a fun feature. Since I will not disable this option.
It is not the first time that a device of the company save the life a person. Recently more than one year, a young man managed to save life thanks to the Apple Watch-heart rate sensor, sensor which forced the user to go to the emergency room.
