Although carry already more than two weeks with iOS 10 of way official in our devices, are still discovering new features that have been included in the last system operating of the Apple. Today we want to introduce “Announce call”, a feature that we will allow that the iPhone tells you with a voice who is calling you.
Announce calls will allow us to remove a sound to our calls and be replaced by Siri voice telling you who you is making the call. This can be very useful on tdo go when driving, since it allows us to know who is calling to us without having to look at the phone and thus to decide whether to take the call or or worry she (all of this is connected to the car bluetooth system, are not advised to take the mobile while driving). Therefore, we told you how you can activate it.
- We are going to start going to the application settings, where we go to the phone section in the operating system default coming.
- Once inside, we will see under the heading “Calls” the option to announce calls, which by default is disabled (‘never’).
- Now, inside announce calls have several options:
- Always: so we will have, as its title says, always activated this option and always will announce the name of the person making the call or failing that the number.
- Headphones and car: by selecting this option, will only be announced if iPhone is connected to a headset (either bluetooth or cable) or a car bluetooth system.
- Only headphones: very well describes itself. They will only be announced when you are using headphones.
- Never.
Now you only have to choose the option that best suits your needs/tastes and iOS 10 will be responsible to tell you who is calling without having to look at the phone to know who is.
