Apple is demanding their suppliers abroad a cut prices on components for the new iPhone 7, to keep their high profit margins, all this despite a global slowdown in sales of smart phones, as indicates the website DigiTimes.

The report says that several large Taiwan-based component suppliers, such as Foxconn, Largan Precision, and Pegatron already have been affected, while that strong competition in the “greater China” is forcing the companies to “compete aggressively” on the orders of Apple through the reduction of prices (a known market by large companies handling).

Currently, Largan Precision faces strong competition with Kantatsu, based in Japan, on the orders of the camera module, while Pegatron and Foxconn are seeing that Apple is adding new ODM partners, such as Wistron to produce its new iPhone 7.

Is expected that Apple Announces the new iPhone 7 in September of this year. Also, expected that the redesign of the flagship Apple maintains the design of iPhone 6s, with fast processors of Apple “A10”, resistant to dust and water, reset antenna bands and a faster LTE band, as also the Wi-Fi. A camera dual lens and 3 GB of RAM that can be exclusive for the 5.5 inch model (Plus / Pro).

Other rumored features include a smart connector, stereo speakers and a pressure and touch sensitive home button, but it is not clear if each of these features are intended for 7 iPhone and iPhone 7 Plus (Pro), this has not been confirmed yet. Also it is assumed that the new iPhone has AMOLED screen and exterior of glass resistant to 2017.
