The application has just received a new update for all platforms where, as it allows us to share files, photos and videos with a maximum limit of 300 MB, although our contacts are not connected at that time. This new feature is ideal vacation arrived and we will surely realize any another video call to our family, that we are going to want to share the videos and photographs that we do in our vacation.
This new update allows us to download the same file in all the devices which make use of the Skype application, in such a way that we are not going to have to send it later to other devices. This function is very similar to that currently offered Telegram, with which we can download any type of file that we sent out all the devices associated with the same account.
Microsoft has this testing different capacities to be able to send files through its so-called messaging platform, setting the limit at 300 MB so that it begins to be used as a system to share content protected by copyright, as it is the case of films. If you want to send larger files we will have to rely on our OneDrive account, which is the same that we use with Skype after the unification of accounts that suffered the service shortly after it was bought by Microsoft.
