Long ago, when I created my current Twitteraccount, one of the accounts that I looked to follow was that of Apple. By then the Cupertino were not so present in social networks as it is now and had a Twitter account for those who have only a user name and the avatar of the egg, which could only mean that the own Apple had caught it or that someone had recorded it for something.
It seems, it was Apple who had registered the account @Apple of Twitter and today, 5 days prior to the event that will present 7 iPhone and Apple Watch 2, Mark Gurman has been one of the first to announce that Tim Cook and company have decided to open his official Twitter account. At the time of writing, the account had not yet written any tweet, but is verified and already exceeds by far the 100,000 followers.
Apple already has official account on Twitter
Taking into account that the company founded by the two Steves does not leave nothing to chance, photo header that has been used and the dates on which we are, it seems clear that the first tweets from this account will be published next Wednesday, moments before the event scheduled for Sept. 7. Although the keynote live, will be issued to also publish what’s happening on Twitter are good news, since the possibility of losing the signal at some point.
This is not the first Twitter account opening in Cupertino or much less. They have already opened several Apple Music, the Apple News, have a iTunes, the App Store and sure left me several more. The difference is that this is the most general of all and seems obliged follow-up to all the users that have any Apple device.
