It is a system that many don’t give use, but the AirPrint features are pretty good. But you know that the 16 WWDC is over, and would not be in vain. New features for AirPrint has been facing iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, welcoming performance improvements and the “AirPrint Bluetooth Beacons” that will allow us to create PDFs directly in panel printing on iOS, allowing access to multiple users and controlling access through passwords. Such improvements are clearly aimed at improving productivity in the professional areas.
“AirPrint Bluetooth Beacons” function will allow to use this technology from Apple to make easier the connection with the wireless printers and their interaction with iOS devices. The function can also be configured for other developers and will be implemented in any device that has AirPrint technology, i.e. devices compatible and certified. Server for each printer, issuing press releases and notifications to devices iOS that are connected to the same network may also create. Print documents from our devices iOS and macOS was never so easy.
On the other hand, the function call “Create PDF” will allow us to create from scratch a PDF directly from the Mac or iOS printing panel. After selecting the printer we can establish these settings. All applications that accept the possibility of sharing a PDF will allow us to modify it. In addition, any user on the network will have access to these PDFs or that we allow, since we can create a password for printing, i.e. can print only certain file who knows the key to print. As we have already said, this feature will be implemented simultaneously in Sierra and iOS macOS 10 which will reach the market in mid-September.
