The Apple website turned 20 recently. You could say that they opened the website coinciding with the modern Apple, i.e., one year before the return of Steve Jobs to the company he founded in the mid-70s. Since then has been many changes, always showing the news more outstanding of the company that manufactures the phone smart that gives name to this blog.
See how apple.com has been all these years would not be an easy task, unless we do seeing a video like that you have under these lines. It’s a Time Lapse or a slideshow of just three minutes which I have personally seen almost without blinking.
Apple.com changes in just 3 minutes
The video begins with a voice of Steve Jobs that ends with that of that “them people that are it sufficiently mad to think that can change the world are which it make“. In them different screenshots see all type of moments interesting, as the iBook in 2002, the iPod in 2002, iTunes in 2003, the iPhone in 2007, the App Store in 2009, the iPad in 2010, the death of Steve Jobs in 2011 or the AirPods already in 2016. I think it important to mention that the years that appear under each image are those of the web, not when the products were launched.
The design of the web also changes much with the step of them years, starting with a web a little chaotic, passing by a reduction of sections and ending with the version more current, much more simple and with a design much more flat. Logically, also will have gone by adding to the web all them new products that is have released, as the Apple Watch.
What me seems curious of this type of travel in the time is see How were those devices makes time, arriving me to ask if their designs liked in its time. The question is, if Apple has reached where it has arrived, it will be that if you liked, isn’t it?
