
Apple has talked much about delete the dividing line between technology and fashion, especially with the launch of the Apple Watch, today partnered with fashion guru Alexander Wang to launch a fashion at Apple Music Channel. As reported by the magazine Vogue, Wang has partnered with Apple to launch a series of three playlists: Chill, Hype, and Vibe.
The first channel of Apple Music fashion comes following the decision of the company to sponsor the Gala Met 2016, which focused on the fusion of technology and fashion industries. The three playlists selected by Wang are available for all subscribers of Apple Music, and Wang says that each one of them is for a specific purpose.
Wang explained the meaning of each playlist for Vogue. For example, Wang Chill playlist is designed to be listened to while they rest or overnight. The artists who are included in the list are Rhianna and Drake, Juicy J.
Playlist Hype is for use away from the Chill play list. Wang says that the Hype playlist includes songs for overflowing energy of artists as Diplo, Lil Jon, and MIA. Finally, Vibe playlist is a mix of both and includes A$ AP Rocy, Rich Homie Quan, and Meek Mill.
As all the playlists of Apple Music Publishers, continuously update. The fashion guru calls playlists as its “memory bank” on the songs that you like.
“Throughout the year always I’m trying to find the music and define who is the character of the season, thinking about the show, energy, and the place, so start collecting a list of playlist over time, using it as a memory bank for the songs that I like”.
