Mother’s day is celebrated all over the world throughout the month of may, but every country celebrates it in the different distributed Sunday by whole month. Apple as usual you like to celebrate certain days with all its users and to celebrate it, Apple published a new ad with pictures of women with their children, photos that had made the protagonists, and that through the program Shot on iPhone had come to Cupertino, who had them apparently reserved for an announcement of this type.
According to the French publication Announces Jeanne Magazine, Apple has modified the announcement of mother’s day iPhone in some countries eliminating the same sex couples that appeared in the version which was launched in the United States. Some of the countries where these couples of the same sex do not appear are Italy, Turkey, Japan, Germany and France while if are available in other countries such as Australia, Canada, Mexico, Spain…
In countries where these images have been eliminated, instead appear more photos of mothers with their children. This is not the first time that Apple modifies an advertisement in some countries. One of the first ads of the Apple Watch that could be seen in France and United States, we could see different tattoos while that in the Japanese version of the ad were eliminated. Obviously, Apple modifies ads to try to adapt to the different cultures of individually where it sold its devices.
But it is not the only company that makes it. The signing of Toyota cars eliminated a couple of the same sex from an ad in France, Coca-Cola changed an ad where he represented a marriage between persons of the same sex, by a heterosexual couple in Ireland. In France, again, that scene was changed by a football match.
