As announced, Square Enix has launched on the App Store watchOS Cosmos Rings, the first RPG that is available exclusively for Apple Watch. Being a role-playing game for a device with a screen so small, Square Enix wanted everything to be simple, the controls are simple and intuitive. In fact, the fighting are semi-automatic and users will only have to occasionally touch the icon of a special attack.
Cosmos Rings uses a system of travel in time using the Crown Digital Apple Watch and messaging feature depending on the number of steps we take a day. Square Enix explains that “the power of timeis in your hands. Simply use the Digital Corona to go back in time! Some conditions may also give you special messages“.”

The protagonist of Cosmos Rings will be exploring temporary tunnels and other areas and will go up in level when performing tasks or missions. The graphics of the game are a bit retro, but are not wrong to be a smart watch. In fact, it seems that here you can notice the 60 fps Apple Watch can deliver. Cosmos Rings is available with a €5.99 special introductory price, but will cost €8.99 from September.
