
The wait has been long, but Apple finally seems to have heard our prayers and iCloud Drive has become a real option for those that we wanted a true cloud storage system. The arrival of macOS Sierra and iOS 10 marks a change in how Apple conceived its storage in the cloud, and now iCloud becomes a real alternative to other conventional such as Dropbox, Box or Google Drive systems. All our files synchronized on our computers, iPhone and iPad, available for when you need them.

macOS saw incorporates a new option within iCloud: the possibility to synchronize the files our “Documents” folder and the desktop. All the compatible devices (10 iOS and macOS Sierra) will have access to these folders, and the changes will be synchronized on all of them. Ended the dictatorship that Apple imposed us that each application has its own folder, now we can have our structure of directories and subdirectories organized to our tastes and needs. Icloud Drive you access those folders, we have obviously also available in Finder, in its traditional location.

Remember that application called iCloud Drive you have IOS 9 but was completely useless for most? Because id dustfree and because now that you are going to start using it if choose to iCloud as a cloud storage system. In addition to access to the application folders, folder “Documents” and “Desktop” (in the beta still in English) you will see with all of its contents. All your documents available on your iPhone and iPad, with the possibility of releasing them from the device itself. Even iCloud Drive offers some tools for PDF files editing, such as underline, write notes or even writing manual, ideal for the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. And just missing that Apple decides to be more generous and us somewhat more than 5GB of free account.
