A few weeks ago Apple had a slip to put the mark of its operating system for Mac in your website. Because of that error, there began to be rumors about a possible change of brand name and a new publication of the company seems to confirm that OS X will be called macOS.
In particular the new reference to the brand macOS has appeared in the section of frequently asked questions (FAQs) of the new policies of the App Store. These Apple explains that the new distribution of commissions between developers and the company itself (85% for the developer) and 15%, instead of the 70/30 which had applied so far will enter into force in June 2016 for “all subscriptions that occur through iOS and macOS, tvOS watchOS“.
