Several months ago, Craig Federighi and Eddy Cue forward to launch a Remote app that would work exactly like the Remote Siri. We also discussed these plans at the WWDC 2016 and already two weeks ago that a beta of the next application that allows you to control both the Apple TV 4 and other software from Apple, as iTunes is available.
MacRumors has already had access to the beta and has released a video that shows that we can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad almost exactly like how we use the Remote Siri. The new application, which seems to change its icon by of an Apple TV seen from above, has the buttons for Menu, play/pause, Siri and the return to the home screen, what might be called Start button. The volume buttons are not, but it makes sense because Siri Remote control the volume using infrared and iOS devices do not include this technology.
The new Remote app will be like Siri Remote

On the other hand, when we’re playing something, the application will be shown a new interface that will allow us to control, for example, the position of the playback or advance or delay 10s (although I this do is asking it to Siri). If what we are doing is playing a game, what we will see (1:17) will be an empty part in the left part, which we will use as a touchpad, and the two action on the right buttons. The accelerometer will also work, so sincerely and taking into account the size of the Remote Siri, I think that I will not use it to play.
The bad thing is that in order to use the new version of the Remote app yet we will have to have some more patience. If there are no surprises, the new version will arrive at the same time as tvOS 10 and the next version of the operating system of the Apple TV’s fourth-generation must arrive at the same time as iOS 10, so we can not use it until September.
