Apple Campus 2 glass panels
A month after it we could see the State of the construction of the Campus 2 Apple thanks to a video of the YouTube user Matthew Roberts, comes an update in the form of another video to view of drone showing the progress of the work.
Seems to be that Apple has gotten hurry to finish the 2 Campus before the end of this year as they were fixed.
In the main building, we can see that it has been made a lot of progress in the installation of solar panels, which will provide the building with 4 mega Watts of power for electricity consumption. Also there is progress in the installation of panels of glass in the side of the building as which see in the image of up. The number of glass panels will be the 3,000 when the building is completely finished.
The Campus 2 aims to generate by itself thanks to solar panels mentioned earlier and cells of biogas nearly 75% of all the energy you need to start up any day. Remember that Apple had already mentioned that he wanted that his campus 2 is “nourish” only renewable energy, for this reason, as well as solar panels and cells, 25% power remaining, will be used from First Solar, renewable energy provider.
The building of R is also displayed in the video & D, which will be separate from the main building. The Auditorium of campus seems to be preparing the ground in front of the entrance to some kind of square with “stands” where perhaps to celebrate events in the open air. Finally we also see progress in the gym that Apple is preparing for its employees.
Tim Cook already communicated its intention to the Campus 2 have finished at the end of this year and to move to 13,000 employees there. It also intends to start making events in the Auditorium.
