So called because it was filtration of more than 500 photographs of famous, largely naked, it caused a stir because initially it was thought that it was a security flaw in iCloud that allowed hackers access to that information. Shortly after it was learned that affected own were actually that gave hackers access credentials (obviously not intentionally) getting so access to their accounts and posting all those photos.
