One of the things that we are worried when we travel to other countries is the possibility to connect to Internet via WiFi, and is that each airport has their own networks and public lounges or private where connections, but they are not always free or offer easy access to passwords. Thanks to the collaboration of the users and the ambitious project of Anil Polat is finished with WiFox this problem.
All over the world
WiFox is a project to the FoxnoMadiPhone, which is the origin of everything. This platform is a database collaborative in which the users of all the world sent them passwords of them networks WiFi of all those airports, which are processed by Anil. Among them passwords can find them of networks of them areas VIP, which converts in very interesting the use of the same when not have access to data or the roaming is shoot.
Polat ensures that the project FoxnoMad currently exceeds a 33% of coverage to level world speaking of airports, a figure that is sees improved to daily thanks to the collaboration of the users. Obviously large airports are the ones with more available networks, but the coverage is pretty impressive to be finally and after something collaborative.
Speaking of the app
WiFox is an app simple, with a design clearly improved in which them details not are care, but that on the other hand we will give in very little time what are looking for: the access to a network. It presents a map of the world with covered airports, while with the side list we can access the various networks and can search and filter to taste. Is important highlight that WiFox us allows collaborate from it own app, something that should make all whenever have access to a WiFi in an airport to keep the idea collective of the same.
To improve many things, from the design (in any app) to the possibility of putting networks or airports as favourite, but for lack of better alternative course that we can manage ourselves with what there is. And while it is true that the cost of the app will not according to their beauty, certainly to the first closed network that allows us to connect us now we will have paid for itself the two eurytus we have to let go of it.
