The YouTube app for iOS is not the best that can be found in the App Store to enjoy the video platform from Google, despite being designed exclusively for this purpose. In the app store of Apple, we can find some interesting alternatives that also if that take advantage of all the functions that Apple has been added in the latest versions of iOS, as the PIP go no further function. However, YouTube also offers us some options that are not available in the Apple store third-party applications.
Google has just released a new update of its application to enjoy YouTube, adding a much anticipated by all option you users. This new feature will inform us at any time if we have viewing a video or not. If so, nit will show you a red line at the bottom of the video. If we have not finished playing it, a red line at the bottom showing where we have reproduced them will be shown. If we click on the video, it will again start playing where we had left it.
To check what were the videos that we have reproduced and check their State of reproduction, we have to go to the library and click history at the top. For a time the Google guys are especially focusing on the YouTube app. A few months ago launched an update to the application, update that changed slightly the aesthetics and performance of the application, but they are still compatible with the PIP function, Picture in Picture, allowing us to enjoy our favorite videos in a floating window while we perform other tasks.
If we want to make use of the PIP function, we will have to make use of other applications available on the App Store, applications that precisely they are not free , but that can be very useful if we are regular users of the YouTube video platform.
