A few months ago we saw how the vision of the virtual assistants went a step further. Amazon Echo is a device for voice command with the typical functions of responding to questions, play music, read news… which responds to the name of “Alexa“. The rumors that Apple may be preparing a device similar to Amazon Echo are present for weeks and today these rumors are becoming stronger. Analyst Sonny Dickson predicts that Apple could present the device during the WWDC 2017 and that could have a design similar to the current Mac Pro, that looks like the current design of the device from Amazon.
“B238”: possible Apple voice command device
A device of the Big Apple voice commands would integrate to Siri and would make it possible to perform all actions that is capable of doing in an iDevice but without an Apple device near. This means that it could be used as a system for controlling the automation of our House, like a portable speaker or for many things more: calendar, alarms, reminders, information about weather and news… You could say that the device would be controlled only by Siri.
Rumors suggest that Apple would be ending the competitor from Echo design, a device that could have technology Beats, support for AirPlay and, of course, integrated Siri. The design would have a strong resemblance to the Current Mac Pro, with a concave lid at the top with the presence of a physical button while the body would have a “mesh” of speaker covering all the empty space. If we make a comparison between this so-called design and Mac Pro could draw numerous similarities, except for the size.
The device would have the internal code B238, that of Cupertino would address issues related to its launch, design… i.e. his name in key. Finally, Dickons aims to the device could occur during the WWDC 2017. We just have to wait for it to pass a few weeks since the Developer Conference is right around the corner.
