Everything seems to come from the need to unify the aluminum alloys used on all their devices, if you have seen (or have) some Apple Watch Sport version and in grey/black space (Space Grey), have seen that it is a grey much darker than can see it in the current iPhone’s. And we like it or not, this new space black could make reference to the possibility of seeing a blue iPhone, i.e., we would not have blue but yes we would have black.
