The new flagships of Samsung, the Galaxy S8 and S8 +, are already on sale in different countries, and all indications are that this will be a new success of the main rival of Apple. In fact, in Korea it already had more than one million reservations prior to its release, and analysts predict that global sales will reach at least 45 million units. However, leaving aside the figures, it seems that the Galaxy S8 exceed, although slightly, photographic 7 Plus iPhone capabilities.
Although it is one of the most important elements on any current Smartphone, the new Galaxy S8 camera is that has received less attention, at least so far. It is true that, basically, we have a similar to the previous generation element however, there is something that it raises slightly above the 7 Plus iPhone’s camera.
In low light, the S8 camera yields better results
Indeed, the Galaxy S8 12MP camera module is the same that included the Galaxy S7 of the last year, however, Samsung has modified the software of the lens f/1.7 in an attempt to improve the image processing.
Tom’s Guide has published a selection of images taken with both smartphones logo and the result is that, even by a narrow margin, the Galaxy S8 is situated above the iPhone 7 Plus.
Based on this analysis, despite the poor performance macro experimented with the Galaxy S8, the results of the Chambers of both smartphones are bright and basically similar, except with one exception.
