Personally, I’ve never liked to publish news or information that might compromise security or cause problems in our electronic devices, but bearing in mind that information is already circulating on the Internet, what we get spreading it is for Apple to address the problem sooner. Explained this, it has discovered a new way to block iMessage of any iPhone with iOS 10 by sending a message with an attachment that the victim must run manually so you can make your own.
It is not the first time that is discovered a similar bug that may cause problems when you receive a message by the official Apple app. In this case, it seems that any iPhone that has installed any version of iOS 10 are vulnerable to this problem, including the latest beta of iOS 10.2.1. When one of these iPhone receives a file attached in concrete by messages and try to open it, messages is freeze and not can interact the application, provided the file attached have code malicious.

A time executed the file attached, can open the multitasking and force the closing of the application messages, but if try to return to open the application it only that will see will be a screen in white. Force a restart does not solve the problem, being the only reliable solution to restore the device. Logically, restored once we must not again touch that attached file, since it can appear if we have messages stored in iCloud.
As it is better to prevent than cure, the best thing we can do is to not open any attached file that we receive messages of someone we know, which also would be a good idea to apply in any other messaging application. We can always receive this type of message from someone you know, in which case we will have to ask where is the grace of the joke that we just made.
As said to the beginning of this post, my intention to the publish this news is, on the one hand, that all may know what can pass if receive a message of this type and, by another, that Apple is give by aforementioned and solve the failed it more soon possible. We hope to do so for the official launch of iOS 10.2.1.
