Luca Todesco, a known hacker, has launched Yalu iOS 10.2. This new Jailbreak is specifically designed to be compatible with iOS 10.2 but only in supported devices for the time: 6s, 6s iPhone Plus, Pro iPad 9.7 to 12.9 inches and the iPhone is. Shares characteristics with the previous Jailbreak, so it is still Semitethered, and also the procedure to install it on your device is the same. If you qualify and want to install Cydia on your device, we give details below.
- Supported devices: iPhone, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Pro iPad 9.7 and 12.9
- iOS 10.2
- Cydia Impactor (download here)
- Yalu (download here)
Once downloaded two applications indicated above, proceed to run Cydia Impactor on our computer with our iPhone or iPad connected through the USB cable (to be possible, certified by Apple). Once open Cydia Impactor window, you only have to drag the file “ipa” of Yalu to it and it will be installed directly on our device. Previously we have gotten our account of Apple to sign the application and thus to be able to install, so only have to enter your Apple account and password when Cydia Impactor prompted us.
Finally, to run Yalu on iPhone we will have to accept the certificate that is installed along with the app. We went into settings > General > profile. There we select the installed profile that should have our account in the name, and we accept it. We are then ready to run the application and to install Cydia on your iPhone or iPad.
This Jailbreak is Untethered, i.e., every time you reboot your device we will have to jailbreak again, though we won’t need the computer for nothing. Only be run again the Yalu application to make Cydia work perfectly.
It’s a Jailbreak which is still in beta, so it may have problems. If you decide to install the Jailbrean, we recommend that you make a backup before doing so if appeared a problem.
